We are looking for a strategic thinker with a solid track record of solving complex problems, creating clever ideas, cross-functional collaboration and rebranding growing organizations. This role is responsible for a mix of leadership and direct contribution of consumer research, brand strategy, and messaging efforts for clients across a wide range of industries.

Our team has four main offerings: brand strategy, writing, naming and design, all in service of our focused expertise in launching and refreshing brand identities. This role will contribute to both brand strategy and brand messaging, so copywriting and brand naming skills are plus. We believe in close collaboration with our clients, so this leadership role will work directly with founders, CMOs and CEOs to help lead them through the brand definition and expression process. This role reports directly to our co-founder.

If you want to find the right mix of doing work you love (i.e. brand strategy and writing), interacting with clients, and mentoring others then this could be the gig for you.  

You should apply if you have:  

  • Extensive experience in the corporate rebrand process from research to launch to management.
  • Deep understanding of a creative agency business and what it takes to successfully lead clients, work in a fast-paced environment, and go deep in a wide variety of industries.
  • Experience solving complex brand problems, developing and writing brand positioning statements, simplifying audience personas, summarizing research and consumer insights, and writing compelling brand messaging.
  • A knack for listening more than talking.
  • An appreciation and understanding of how brand strategy permeates the entire branding process, from design and messaging to applications. 
  • A love for collaboration, with an ability to think on your feet. You will work closely with other strategists, writers, namers, designers and project managers.
  • Stellar communication skills and plenty of experience leading presentations and facilitating sessions with clients.
  • A positive go-getter attitude, looking for autonomy and influence. 
  • A skill in reviewing reams of data and turning disparate data points into meaningful insights (in fact, be sure to mention what Matchstic project is your favorite one in your application)
